While land-based aquaculture became a boom in Japan, we rarely heard of anyone actually turning a profit — instead, we watched company after company take on the challenge and eventually withdraw. Driven by a desire to share a simpler, more reliable way to farm, we decided to bring Symbio-RAS to Japan.
Symbio-RAS already has a proven track record in Japan and continues to deliver results. At the same time, we felt the limits of support from an overseas company, so we acquired an exclusive patent license for Symbio-RAS. To build a structure for exclusively introducing and supporting the system within Japan, we established Symbio-RAS Japan Inc.
